RECIPE :: Raheenah's brown bean cinnamon chocolate milk

You can serve Raheenah's brown bean cinnamon chocolate milk with your favorite cereal. You could add more cocoa powder to have an intense chocolate flavor.  







You need
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 cup brown beans 
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional)
3 pinches of cinnamon




Soak the beans overnight. This process will soften the beans and makes it easier to blend.

Blend the beans. Use 2 cups of water for a handful of beans. Continue this step until you finish blending the honey beans.


Sieve the blended beans about 3-4 times to remove the chaff. {You could put the chaff back into the blender, add water and blend. Sieve after.}

There you go!

Pour into a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Add the cinnamon, sugar and cocoa powder. Boil for 6-8 minutes.

Simmer and stir occasionally with a wooden spoon so it won't have lumps or get burnt. Add water if it's thick. Sieve after.

Let it cool down and refrigerate. 

Enjoy!

Serve with your favorite cereal.
