A modern and non-alcoholic twist with zobo leaves. Zobo is made from the dried sepal of hibiscus flower. I chilled the glass to keep the cosmo at the ideal temperature as long as possible. You could also check the other recipe Zobo drink.
You need:
Zobo syrup
- 1 cup zobo leaves
- 2 cups water
- 3 cups sugar
Zobo cosmopolitan
- 1 cup zobo syrup
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- Ice
- Martini glass
Zobo leaves. |
Heat sugar and water in a sauce pan. Let the sugar dissolve completely. |
Add the washed zobo leaves and boil to thicken it. Sieve and leave to cool |
Mix the zobo syrup, lime, honey, orange and cranberry until combined. You can use a shaker. |
Pour into the chilled martini glass. {to chill the glass, place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes} I chilled the glass to keep the cosmo at the ideal temperature as long as possible. |
