I love bell peppers. You can serve this sauce with yam, rice or pasta.
You need
4 whole tilapia-scaled
4 tablespoons seasoning powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
2 large onions
7 large bell peppers
4 scotch bonnets
3 small tomatoes
3 cups vegetable oil
Cut off the head if you don't want it and wash properly. Don't soak the fish in water because it's delicate. |
Season the fish and let it marinate for few minutes. |
Roughly blend the garlic, peppers and onion. |
Boil the blended pepper to remove the sour taste. |
Heat up the vegetable oil and fry the sliced onion. |
Pour the boiled pepper and cook for about 10 minutes. |
Place the fish carefully and let it cook properly on both sides. don't STIR with a spoon just SHAKE the pot in circular motions. |
Enjoy! |

RaheenahO you who have believed, do not violate the rites of Allah or [the sanctity of] the sacred month or [neglect the marking of] the sacrificial animals and garlanding [them] or [violate the safety of] those coming to the Sacred House seeking bounty from their Lord and [His] approval. But when you come out of ihram, then [you may] hunt. And do not let the hatred of a people for having obstructed you from al-Masjid al-Haram lead you to transgress. And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty. {Al-Ma'idah 5:2}
