Ingredients
- 8 roma tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Pinch of sugar
- Cilantro
- Ketchup (optional)
- salt to taste
- 4 dried arbol chiles
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 12" corn tortillas

- Toast the arbol chiles and grill the tomatoes
- After toasting the chiles, add water and bring to boil
- In a food processor, add the chiles together with the water, onion, garlic, oregano, lime juice, sugar, salt and pulse until chunky.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour
- Garnish with cilantro
(Tortilla chips)
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Brush both of the sides of the tortilla with oil
- Spread on a baking sheet and add salt
- Bake until golden brown
