Simple and easy recipe for breakfast or dessert. Crepes are very thin pancakes. You can use both sweet and savory fillings.
Savory fillings: Sour cream, Chicken, Eggs, Beans, Cheese, Roasted red peppers, Mushrooms.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 6 large bananas
- 1 cup olive oil
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Tools/equipment
Measure wet and dry ingredients. |
Blend the flour, salt, sugar, butter, egg and milk then sieve. |
Heat olive oil/butter. Add the batter and swirl to evenly cover the bottom. |
Cook and flip until golden or brown. |
Melt butter in a medium pot or skillet. Add sliced banana and saute for some seconds. Add sugar and honey, continue cooking until sugar is melted. Then add cinnamon. |
Place several slices of banana in the middle of the crepe and fold. Drizzle chocolate syrup {in any pattern you want} on top and enjoy! |
