Recipe of the day: Rainbow pancakes

Are you tired of seeing the regular pancake? Give rainbow pancakes a try. And mothers/aunts, you could make these rainbow pancakes for your kids/nieces/nephews, it will make them eat more and you could use their favorite color only.






   Ingredients





   Tools/Equipment




   Directions
  • Prepare the pancake batter by following the directions on the box
  • Divide the pancake batter into equal portions
  • Add the color to the pancake batter. Each portion one of the colors of the rainbow
  • Heat the oil
  • Fry the colored pancake batter, one color at a time / fry all the colors together
  • Stack in rainbow order or however you want it
  • Serve with syrup / Hershey's chocolate syrup and ice cream
  • Top with skittles and whipped cream




   Tips
  • Don't use too much oil
  • Make sure you follow the directions on the box
  • Cook on medium heat
  • Flip pancake when edges are dry and the top of the pancake has bubbles rising up
  • You could top your pancake with fruits like banana, strawberry and so on
