Recipe of the day: Rice & Beans with Peppered Gizzard' and Chicken

Hello!









I was hungry and I wanted a good meal so I settled for this. I don't know if I'm the only one, but whenever I cook because 'm hungry it takes forever. It's as if the clock is ticking at a slower rate.

       Ingredients

       Directions
  • Boil the rice with salt
  • Wash, boil and season the beans (with salt, garlic powder, bouillon cube & onion powder)
  • Also add the chopped onion and oil to the beans
  • Wash, boil and season the chicken and gizzard (with salt, garlic powder, bouillon cube, chicken seasoning & onion powder)
  • Shred the chicken and chop the gizzard'
  • Blend the onion, red pepper, scotch bonnet and tomato paste
  • Heat the oil, add the chopped onion and fry
  • Add the blended pepper and season (with salt, chili powder, italian seasoning and bouillon cube) and leave to boil
  • Add the shredded chicken, chopped gizzard and leave to cook
  • Serve and enjoy
