Recipe of the day: Ewa agoyin (Beans and sauce)

I'm going to show you how to prepare it with pictures and you really have to be patient when cooking this meal. You can also enjoy this meal with bread (soft).





   Ingredients 
Discard stones and dirt from the beans.

Wash the beans thoroughly.

Boil for about 2hrs30mins. Season with salt and stock cubes.

Mash the beans with a wooden stirring paddle.

(Mashed) beans. 

Cut the red pepper, onion and scotch bonnet, remove the seeds. Add a little water and blend roughly. 

Blended pepper. 

Slice the onions.

Heat up the palm oil. 

Fry the sliced onions. When the onions start to burn add the cayenne pepper.

Add the blended pepper little by little.

Add the locust beans, crayfish and season to taste.

Cook for about 10 minutes.
