There are different ways of preparing this meal and this is one of them.
Ingredients
- 4 cups rice
- Salt to taste
- 1 package mixed vegetables
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tablespoon red pepper
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons thyme leaves
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 6 cooking spoons vegetable oil
- 2 stock cubes

Directions
- Boil and bake the chicken/beef. Parboil the rice.
- In a frying pan, stir-fry the sliced onion and red pepper.
- Add the chicken and continue to stir
- Add the mixed vegetables, season to taste and continue to fry. Then set aside.
- In a medium pot, fry the parboiled rice, pour the chicken stock and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the mixed vegetables, stir and simmer.
- Serve with chicken or beef. Store the rest in an airtight container and place in the fridge.
