Recipe of the day: Okra soup (yoruba style)

     You need





Rinse the fresh okra with water and cut into small chunks. 

Put them in the blender. Add a little water and blend. Don't let it be too smooth.

Blended okra.

Pour the blended okra into a medium pot. Cook on low heat for about 8 minutes. (You could add potash aka kaun to make it draw more).

Add the ground locust beans and season to taste with adobo all purpose seasoning, salt and stock cube.

Continue stirring with a wooden stirring paddle on low heat for 5 minutes.

Turn off the heat and let it stand. Serve with eba, pounded yam or amala.

Store the rest in an airtight container and place in the fridge.
