Recipe of the day: Banana, grape, apple and blackberry smoothie with chocolate chip ice cream

Bananas: They prevent high blood pressure and keep your digestive tract healthy. 
Grapes: They prevent platelet aggregation and reduce inflammation.
Apples: They fight heart disease, cancer and stroke.
Blackberries: They help reduce the risk of heart problems and periodontal disease. 





    Ingredients


   Tools/Equipment





Wash the fruits except the bananas. Slice or dice the fruits and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Put the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a cup and garnish with apple (slice).
