Total time: 1hr                     Yield: 8-10 servings             Level: Easy
          prep: 10mins
         cook: 50mins

I made this delicious, mouth-watering soup with crayfish, stock fish, cow leg, cow skin, smoked catfish and shawa dried fish for suhoor. Enjoy with rice, eba, semovita or pounded yam.
It's called Ila Alasepo which means mixed okra soup. This soup is similar to Otong soup

    Ingredients

   Tools/Equipment

Stock fish, smoked catfish, and shawa dried fish.

Soak in salted water for hours then cook in microwave until they are soft.

Cut the boiled beef tripe, debone/shred the smoked catfish and shawa dried fish.

Debone/shred the stock fish. Cut the boiled cow legs and cow skin into tiny pieces.

Wash the okro and blend or grate.
Pour into a medium pot. Add the ground crayfish, locust beans and season to taste. Then boil.

Add palm oil, blended scotch bonnet, chili powder and water (or stock). Cook for about 6 minutes on medium heat. Then add the boiled beef tripe, shawa dried fish, smoked catfish, cow legs, cow skin and stock fish. Simmer for about 8 minutes. (keep stirring)

It's ready!
